Honeycomb🐝

Role: Lead Designer, Producer

I spearheaded the design and development of Honeycomb, a dynamic multiplayer game where the primary objective is to accumulate the highest number of honey points by the end of the gameplay. This was a group project done by four people. My responsibilities encompassed crafting the intricate game mechanics, designing the cards and power-ups, and meticulously balancing the various elements to ensure an engaging and competitive experience. I also helped design the visuals and managed all 2D and 3D printing. The game unfolds across three years, each comprising four seasons, with players strategically placing cards drawn from the bee deck during each season. The competition intensifies as players vie for limited honey points from progressively fewer flowers in each season. The climax occurs during the winter of the final year after the third card placement, determining the ultimate winner.
