What happens when a game development team falls apart?
Changelog is an interactive narrative experience that pieces together the story of a broken game development team through their development blog, chat logs, and various builds of the game they were creating. Inspired by Her Story and The Beginner’s Guide, the game invites players to uncover the team's struggles, ambitions, and ultimate downfall—not through cutscenes, but by navigating the remnants of their creative process.
As the Producer and Art Director, I was responsible for end-to-end production management, ensuring smooth collaboration across disciplines while maintaining a cohesive visual identity and development pipeline. My key contributions included:
- Production & Team Coordination – Driving agile development processes, defining project milestones, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration between art, engineering, and design teams.
- Project Planning & Roadmapping – Establishing sprint goals, backlog prioritization, and iterative development cycles to keep the project on track while adapting to creative and technical challenges.
- Resource Management & Risk Mitigation – Allocating team resources effectively, identifying potential roadblocks early, and implementing contingency plans to ensure efficient problem-solving.
- Stakeholder Communication & Workflow Optimization – Acting as the primary liaison between team members and external collaborators, streamlining communication pipelines, and leveraging SaaS production tools like JIRA, Trello, and Miro for workflow efficiency.
- Art Direction & Asset Pipeline Management – Overseeing the visual consistency and implementation of all in-game artifacts, UI elements, and development materials to enhance authenticity and player immersion.
